(Interfax-Ukraine) - The shareholders of PJSC Eurocement-Ukraine, part of Eurocement group-Ukraine (both based in Balakleya, Kharkiv region) of Eurocement Group (the Russian Federation), have decided to terminate the activities of the Kyiv branch due to business needs.
According to a company report in the information disclosure system of the National Commission on Securities and the Stock Market, the shareholders made the decision at a general meeting on April 29.
In addition, the company re-elected head of the supervisory council Kamil Lachuyev, who has been holding the post since 2012, for one year, as well as head of the revision commission Nina Monakhova for a year.
Public joint-stock company Eurocement-Ukraine was founded in 1996 through the reorganization of Balakleya cement and slate plant. It is engaged in production of cement of various brands and clinker.
The production capacity of Eurocement-Ukraine as of March 2016 stood at 4.051 million tonnes of cement per year.
As of March 20, 2014 the company's sales branches were located in Petrivske (Kyiv region) and Simferopol (Crimea).
