EUROCEMENT-UKRAINE POSTS 24% FALL IN NET LOSS IN 2015

(Interfax-Ukraine) – Public joint-stock company Eurocement-Ukraine (Balakleya, Kharkiv region), part of private joint-stock company Eurocement group-Ukraine of Eurocement group (Russia), saw a 24.3% decline in net loss in 2015 compared to the previous year, to UAH 208.769 million.
The company's assets decreased by 31.8%, to UAH 573.958 million.
Total bills receivable shrank by 48.8%, to UAH 81.455 million.
Undistributed profit dropped by 73%, reaching UAH 78.209 million. Short-term liabilities decreased by 14.8%, to UAH 488.892 million. The company did not have long-term liabilities.
The number of employees fell from 717 to 439 people in 2015.
Public joint-stock company Eurocement-Ukraine was founded in 1996 through the reorganization of Balakleya cement and slate plant. It is engaged in the production of cement of various brands and clinker.
